App: Omnimux (uk.omnimux.app). Last updated: 2026-10-04.
Omnimux works without one. If you point it at your own ntfy server, or at none at all, nothing about you exists on any server we run, and uninstalling the app is the whole of it.
You have an account with us only if you tapped Create my account in the app's
notification settings. It looks like omx-xxxxxxxx and you can see it under
Notifications → Account.
Notifications → Account → ⋮ → Delete account…. It asks once, saying what will happen, and then it is done immediately — no request, no waiting. Any device signed in to the account can do it.
Note the entry above it, Forget account on this device, which is the other thing: it removes this phone's copy of the credentials and leaves the account and your other devices working.
If you no longer have the app installed, write to
[email protected]
with the account name (omx-xxxxxxxx) and its recovery code — the hashcode shown when the
account was created. We delete it within 7 days and reply when it is done. No other detail is needed,
because we hold no other detail: we never asked for your name or email address.
Without the recovery code we cannot tell that the account is yours, and will not delete it on request — the same protection that stops anyone else deleting yours. Topics and tokens of an account nobody uses expire on their own.
| Removed | Where |
|---|---|
| The account name and its hashed recovery code | Our ntfy server and relay |
| Every access token issued to your devices and machines | Our ntfy server |
| Your topics, and any message still waiting on them | Our ntfy server |
| The push registration, if you used push delivery on iOS | Our relay |
Connection logs, which contain no message content, age out within 7 days.
Deleting the account does not touch your phone or computer. These are yours to clear, and none of it was ever sent to us:
If you only want this phone to stop receiving notifications, Notifications → Account → Forget account on this device removes its copy of the credentials. The account and your other devices carry on.
